French Toast Sausage Sticks



  • 1 pack Sunset Farm Foods fresh breakfast links (12 links)
  • 12 slices sandwich bread
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar (optional)


  • Cook the breakfast sausage links until cooked through according to package directions.
  • While those are browning, cut the crust off of the sandwich bread (makes the wrapping of the links easier). I used the square sandwich slices as they are more even.
  • After you have removed the crust, flatten the slices out with either the palm of your hand or a rolling pin.
  • Crack the 3 large eggs into a shallow bowl and add the ground cinnamon, mixing thoroughly.
  • Once the sausage links are cooked thoroughly, roll each link into a flattened piece of the sandwich bread.
  • Once all sausages have been rolled into the sandwich bread (pressing together to make sure the rolled bread stays wrapped around the links), heat a skillet to medium heat and place the butter in, allowing it to melt.
  • Dip each sausage roll into the french toast egg mixture, making sure each roll is coated evenly. Place in the pan, turning each roll every 2-3 minutes so that all sides are evenly browned and cooked.
  • Serve plain, sprinkled with powdered sugar, or with a side of your favorite syrup to dip them in!
