Sweet & Spicy Smoked Sausage Appetizer



  • 1 3 lb pkg Sunset Farm Foods family size Hot smoked sausage
  • 1 20 oz. can crushed pinapple
  • 1.5 cups brown sugar
  • 1 tbs corn starch
  • 3 tbs spicy mustard


  • Cut the sausages into bite sized pieces.
  • Brown the sausage in a large skillet (may have to do this in 2 batches). Place these in a crockpot or a dish that will be used for serving.
  • In a medium sauce pan, combine the crushed pineapple (with juice), brown sugar, corn starch and spicy mustard.
  • Bring to a boil, boiling just until the brown sugar has dissolved.
  • Pour over the sausage and stir to evenly coat the sausage. Keep warm in the crockpot or serving dish and enjoy!
