Sausage and Rice Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Sunset Farm Brand Market Style Fresh Hot Sausage
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 large jar or can sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 2 cans beef consommé soup

Instructions

  • Cook sausage until crumbly and drain thoroughly on paper towel.
  • Saute bell pepper and onion in butter.
  • Combine all ingredients.
  • Spray 9 X 13 inch casserole pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Pour mixture into casserole.
  • Bake at 350 degrees, uncovered, for 1 and 1/2 hours.
